International Crochet Day - September 12

September 12 is
1st Annual International Crochet Day

Thanx to our dear friend and resident hook maker at Crochetville, Jimbo,
we now have our very own holiday!

International Crochet Day will be a special day for all of us to pass on our love of the art.

So many wonderfully talented people are jumping on the bandwagon. Some are starting Crochet Clubs, organizing Crochet-Ins, scheduling lessons, making greeting cards, committing to ROAK's (Random Acts of Kindness), devoting the day to Charity Work for many wonderful causes, and my own contribution - Teach a Kid to Krochet.

Everyone who actively participates in promoting this special new holiday (and remembers to enter the drawing) will be entered into a drawing for a handmade Jimbo Hook. The most incredible handmade hooks I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Personally, I already own 3 but my goal is to have a complete set someday.

Check out Jimbo's hooks at Jimbo's Front Porch.
And while you're visiting -
check out the porch that hooks built!
